As a new Tour Operating company I am extremely proud to announce the success of our very first Group day tour. We have had solo female tours before but this has been our very first group tour and it was just amazing.
The tour began at 9:30 am and included visits to the coastal windward side of the island including the new Argyle International Airport and a bit of inland viewing. The black point tunnel a huge beautiful natural attraction on the windward side of the island and an amazing lookout at the top of the mountain seeing the vast expanse of the valley below were just a few stops in our tour.
The tour was accompanied by my recipe of homemade banana bread, local fruit juices and the pick of sweet and juicy local fruits that were in season. I am so blessed and grateful to Betsy and her family for choosing Zanur Tours to show them our beautiful island St Vincent and the Grenadines. We here at Zanur Tours are on a mission to providing local authentic tours to visitors to the islands while allowing the local people especially women to benefit from the tourism sector instead of larger companies. To allow our women to meet new people and interact with the wider world on a larger scale. As we grow and progress as a company my dream is to include more women/female guides throughout the island allowing cross interactions with adventurous female travellers and local women. Our ladies can have another option in the choice of jobs and careers and dare to dream of a better life than what they currently have. In this process they would impact foreigners and give them a real taste of the famous Vincentian hospitality and to have a bit of our beautiful culture and attractions.
This is what Betsy had to say about her tour with us:
"We had a fantastic time touring St.Vincent with Zanurtours. Our guides were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about their beautiful island. We only had a few hours to see the island and it was packed with wonderful coastal views, villages, Mesopotamia Valley, Black Point Tunnel and the trip to the Montreal Gardens. We could have easily spent several days with Valerie, Dexter and Victor Byron (our guides) to see more but we were unable.
What an amazing group of people! Thanks again Betsy for believing in our philosophies and showing us our dreams can come through one tour at a time!!!
Ok I’ve gotten to the one I think you all have been waiting for and I will just touch on this topic today and go more deeper next month when we start budgeting for your BIG travel.
This factor has a huge influence on our travel. People tell me all the time I don’t know how you can afford to travel. Or I can’t travel because I just cant afford it.
To this I say NONSENSE!!
It’s all about priorities just like everything else in life. I know travel means so much to me that I have a separate account set aside for my travels. This account I swindle away a little every month to accumulate to indulge my passion for travel.
We all have resources available to us and as women we need to put these into practise when we think about travel. Here are 5 ways to use your resources and find budget to travel:
Figure out how much you want to attempt to put aside every month for travel. Work on your MINDSET this is so important and I will also be going into this over the coming weeks. Create a plan or strategy to disciple yourself and work on your priorities. I promise you if travel is one of the top entries to your priorities list; you will condition your mind that you would save x amount every month to go towards your travel goals. You can do it! I know you can. If you need help reach out to me I’ll help you get on track. I’d be working on an easy budget worksheet that we can use in the coming months. Please stay in touch!

So in the first email we started discussions on picking your travel destination. This week we will continue and explore different activities that you would want to do on your travels.
I have different desires when I think of traveling. There are times when I have a few days for example my last birthday my husband and I planned an amazing 4 day trip to Jerusalem, Israel and we did an all-inclusive tours and stay there. Read about my experience herehttp://www.zanurtours.com/blog. This is because we wanted to do different activities but there are holidays that I did that just included lazing around at a beach and pool because I just wanted to unwind and relax myself on these trips.
So a very big question, WHY do you want to travel?
Have you ever took the time to think about why you want to travel? Is it just to see different places, take some pics infront of a well-known site and post on social media for your friends to see what an amazing life you have or is it for something more. Do you want to travel to experience new things, to widen your horizon and become a more fulfilled enlightened person? The latter is definitely my WHY. I absolutely believe that travel makes me a better person. It makes me more grateful, more confident and definitely happier. After the buzz of airports, train stations etc getting to somewhere new just fills me with pure joy.I love this feeling so much that even when I’m having a down day I just think of a destination I would love to go to soon and I immediately start planning in my head. How I am going to get there (financially and logistically). Just the simple thought of travelling makes me happy and strengthens me to face my problems head on.
Is picking your activities influenced by your other half or probably traveling with kids? Then maybe something like an all-inclusive resort or a cruise would be right for you. Everything is pre planned for you and all you need to decide is what to eat for dinner. These things are great for families as they are usually a wide range of activities for adults as well as the kids. Everyone has a great time with little or no stress. The only thing is that these holidays are usually more costly but we will get to that in our final part of picking a destination-Budget and resources.
Other factors that may influence you picking your destination could be weather, are you a hot weather person or a cold weather person? I am definitely a hot weather person haha but I have been to cold destination just to experience something different.
Have you already made your list of destinations you want to travel to? Thank you ladies I have received a few emails with your list and they are amazing. I was even reminded that I left two destination off of my own list, which was Washington D.C and Atlantic City (dancing while I say this). I have already started writing my other list of places I want to go next and I know you saw Greece (soon) on the list ahaha. This week’s activity is to think and write all of the things you want to experience on your travels. Here’s a simple worksheet I started for you, just simply fill in some of your own. Feel free to send me your completed list or just write me and let me know what more information you would love to get from me regarding your travel aspirations.
I would be getting into some deep information over the next couple of weeks. If you no longer want to be bombarded by yet more emails, please feel free to unsubscribe to the bottom of this email. We would be sad to see you go but we'd rather have happy community members than annoyed ones.
Love and Blessings always.
